Fidelis Umukoro holds a Bachelor of Science in Insurance from Joseph Ayo Babalola University and an HND in Insurance from Lagos State Polytechnic. He further pursued his academic journey at the University of Lagos Akoka, obtaining a master’s in insurance and risk management. With over 18 years of dedicated experience in the Insurance industry, Fidelis is recognized as an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN).
His expertise spans various facets of the industry, including Underwriting, Marketing, Claims Investigation, NAICOM regulatory report preparation and submission, as well as the packaging and submission of bids. Fidelis has showcased adept leadership skills by spearheading multiple underwriting teams throughout his career. He prides himself on managing multiple high-priority projects while consistently delivering exemplary service.
As a pioneer member of Leadfort Insurance Brokers Limited, Fidelis honed his skills through specialized training in areas such as Marine and Aviation Insurance. Additionally, he has undergone extensive training in presentation skills utilizing PowerPoint. His career trajectory has encompassed roles within the insurance industry and broking firms, consolidating his expertise across these domains. Presently, Fidelis serves as Manager Operations at Post Assurance Brokers Limited.
